Why FOOTCLINIC ? Because we are doctors so we look at the foot as part of a whole.Many general diseases can be discovered by a foot examination.   HEART DISORDERS : Press your finger on the skin around the ankle…. a persistent depression means that your heart does not pump as it should…so liquids follow the force of gravity.
DIABETES : Impaired circulation in diabetes transforms callosities(area where there is more body pressure) in ulcers. GOUT : An acute and relapsing pain with inflammation which tipically affects the hallux. ( DEFORMING ) ARTHRITIS RHEUMATOID : An abnormal foot shape can be the consequence of rheumatoid arthritis. So if a footclinic doctor takes a blood sample from you or orders you a Doppler or an ecg don’t take him for crazy !
BRAIN : Again he orders you a NMR he is not crazy. An arched foot can put more in evidence a brain’s disease such as Parkinson’s , cerebellum disorder,senile tremor , spinalk column disorders.
